Transfy ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our desktop application and website.

2. Information We Collect

We prioritize data minimization. We do not require account registration or collect personal identifiers like your name or email. The only data we collect includes:

• Hashed Device ID (HWID): A non-reversible cryptographic hash of your hardware components, used solely to verify your license and enforce device limits (up to 3 devices).
• Application Settings: Local preferences such as your target language and hotkey configurations.
• Usage Metrics: Anonymous capture counts to maintain server limits for free-tier users.

3. AI Processing & Screenshots

Transfy is a screen translator. When you initiate a capture, the selected screen area is converted into an image and sent to our Vision AI engine for processing. We do not save, store, or train AI models with your screenshots. Images are processed in volatile memory and discarded immediately after the translation is delivered.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to deliver our product:

• Polar.sh: Handles all payment processing and subscription management. We do not store your credit card or billing details.
• Cloudflare: Provides our API infrastructure and serverless hosting.

5. Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal data, we have nothing to retain. Hashed HWIDs are kept as long as your license is active to prevent unauthorized use.

6. International Users & GDPR

While Transfy is a global service, we comply with the principles of data protection (GDPR/CCPA) by not collecting personal data. You have the right to stop using the service at any time, which will effectively remove your HWID association from our active license database.
